My uncle was a B-26 gunner stationed in Libya. He may have known your grandfather.

This was something I found out recently about some family history. A distant relative of mine, named Joseph Eno, was one of the inventors of the "Steam King" in the 1870's. It was a mannequin that could walk and pull a carriage under steam power. It wore a crown on its head, and thus was the "Steam King." It was exhibited with P.T. Barnum's circus, led a parade at the dedication of the Queensboro Bridge in New York, and demonstrated to President Ulysses S. Grant, General George Armstrong Custer, and the Prince of Wales (the future King Edward VII). Weighing 600 pounds, the machine proved to be impractical and failed to replace the horse.

Don't you wish you could go back and re-live some of those days? Time has passed so fast. My daughter is also now 28 years old. Here brushing her hair before a shoot as a model for The Arizona Jeans Company (they didn't only make jeans).

I ran across some old pictures of my dad’s '68 Big Block L71 in the early 70s. Notice the funky port hole window added to the hardtop. ?
He has his Halliburton company car pulling his ‘68 to the track.

My father loved that plane for its high performance, but he started flying when he was 14. His skill at landing the B26 got him sent to Tampa as a flight instructor.
