Looks like the two smiling young ladies in the middle won whatever contest to be featured in the picture. The "losers" look sour, particularly the two on the far right.

Can't say I see one nice pair of stemware and what appears to be early-onset cankle-ism. Maybe it's the shoes?

By those hairstyles (beehives, one flip), the year must be around 1963-1964. Modernize the hair and they all gain 2-2.5 pts in the 1-10 rating.
