I get plastered on my patio now. Makes me wonder if there is anything else to make retiring attractive.

I’d pick 3 but traveling every 2 months is way too much. Bump that up to every 4-6 months and it would be perfect

Age 72, retired for a while now and pretty much locked into option #1.

I've got more than enough things to do around the house with an older home's upkeep, yard work, vegetable garden, maintaining vehicles, cooking, woodworking projects, etc.

Plus an evening to two a week tossing darts with friends at the local watering hole, hopping on my motorcycle for day rides, the occasional fishing trip, etc.

The wife still works and has about a year before she retires, then we can do more together.
