The worst modern look is wearing athletic shoes with suits.

Looks cheap. Hart Schaffner Marx will let you order suits without it.

Don’t like it….that stitch looks cheap.

I haven’t worn a suit in so long that my go to suits have pleats and cuffs.

I have 5-6 everyday suits and 2 nice suits. My 2 nice bespoke suits have pick stitching. It’s not as obvious as OP but it’s there.

I wear suits a lot for work.

Sweet!

Those modern fit tight plain front suit pants are for pussies. Suit pants shouldn’t fit like jeans and some of us need more “room” down there.

older guys say it screams J.C.Penny change of season rack sale.
And they are correct.

I saw some a few years ago where the thread was a lighter color than the suit itself.

it looks like a woman's suit IMO

Negotiations are about controlling things, about being in the driver's seat and make one tiny mistake; you're dead. I made one tiny mistake, I wore women's clothes.

The more quilted looking pick stitch can look good with the right color combinations, and I’m not talking about the stitching. I hate contrast stitching. It also seems to tend to look better on heavier fabrics.
