I know all kinds of dumb crap like that.

"Corvette buyers are usually somewhat arrogant. They will try to dictate the deal or act superior."

I can believe that.

Nice. I admit I know very little about cars. I just do my research and try my best to not get screwed.

I honestly don't know offhand, I'll have to go back and look at the title. The friend I bought it from owns a bike shop in Conroe, TX and built it himself. He got in some trouble financially and I was able to get it for a really good price, the only condition being that I can only sell it if I give him first offer.

Gotcha. I'm trying to remember what year thy switched from carb to fuel injection but I'm drawing a blank. That being a 650 they may still puts carbs on those. I can't really remember.

One more thing you will face, the 650's are notorious for oil leaks coming from the neutral switch. If you go to get on it one day and notice an oil leak coming from the the left side a little forward of the shaft drive, it's almost certainly the neutral switch. Here's an illustration of where you'll see the leak....

And here's a pic of the switch inside that cover that causes the leak...

The switch is plastic and becomes brittle and crack around the bolt hole (as you can see in the picture. All you have to do is ordr a new one....

And change it out. Should take less than 10 minutes.

Not within reason, but hey, I already own the vehicle I want within reason.

But the 2015 supercharged Challenger Hellcat would be nice.

No problem. And I'm guessing you've already figured this out but just in case... burn nothing buy high octane fuel and probably about every 3rd tank put wither Seafoam or B12 Chemtool in the tank to keep it running smooth.

Yea I only run premium and make sure to stabilize all the fluids, etc. if I'm going to be putting it up for over a couple weeks.

It runs great but has pretty high mileage for a bike, about 30k. The majority of that is from a run he made to Sturgis from Houston.

I know a lot of guys use Seafoam but I have a buddy that's worked on bikes for years and he swears by B12 Chemtool. I still keep it in my saddle bag today...

You're just getting it broke in now. Take care of it and you should get over 100,000 miles from it. I had almost 60,000 on mine when I traded it if I remember correctly. And other than that neutral switch I mentioned earlier leaking every 6 months or so, it still ran like a champ.

ETA.... Riding from Houston to Sturgis on a 650???? Damn, I'll bet his arse was sore as hell.
