Somewhere a horse-racing bettor should be nearly $600,000 richer. Instead, they suffered the disappointment of a lifetime.
Pick 6 is usually the last 6 races of the day and if you pick all 6 winners, you win a huge rollover pot.

Chances this guy offs himself in the next week?

Sigh.
Horse very obviously veers sharply to the rail off a strong right handed whip.
He was being hard ridden to the wire. If anything shady was up it would be better to not ride so hard. Poor guy is trying to carry the horse to the wire with his arms.
Also, nobody without a death wish would bail out on the leading horse right in front of the pack. They’d do it on the outside.

I hit a $20 Exacta and a $10 double because of this. I was shocked. Couldn’t imagine what that person went/is going through.

He didn't lose it, he just didn't win it, big difference.

He fell off because the horse ducked in causing the rider to lose his balance. It's not looking ke the jock just fell off on his own the horse caused that. Usually when that happens the horse is hurting somewhere or something spooked the horse causing him to duck in.

Looks like the wind got under his goggles.

FIFY at least that would temporarily be in my mind

Looked more like a spook than sore unless something severe just happened at the point of the veer. Generally when in pain it’s a more gradual lug.

Can't wait for Larry Leo to steal this.
