Early on in the game, so I have heard. By the time I was a kid, Morrisson's was bad and Piccadilly was coming up on the outside and overtaking it.

Yeah their cafeteria sucks. They also have horrid coffee vending machines. Nasty canasty. And there's nothing else nearby other than subway. The hospital is in the hood.
OTOH the women's and children's hosp in Lafayette has a pretty good cafeteria. It's small and has limited selections but still tasty.

Fried cod fish, broc and cheese rice, mac n cheese, dinner roll, carrot cake. If you dont enjoy a meal like that then I probably wouldnt want to drink a beer with you.

The Picadilly in Cortana Mall was amazing when I was growing up. All those black ladies hooked that shite up.

I just love it when I remember something from my childhood that I had completely forgotten about and only remember when someone mentions it.
That was a nice atmosphere as I remember my dad worked in around that area and me and either my mom or maw maw would go there to meet him for lunch if we were in the area.
And now I remember Mama Brava's pizza there too.....

Didn't they stop cooking a lot of their food?
As a kid I enjoyed it. As a teen, my grandmother used to love it, so it was fine back then for what it was.
Not sure I have been in 15 years. Last thread on this topic, I though people said most of the things they used to cook are now delivered.
I always enjoyed the fried chicken, mac & cheese, cornbread and chocolate pie.
