Well from recent news, it seems like airlines and other industries are talking about not allowing people to use their services unless they’ve proven to be vaccinated. Same goes for Jobs

But that isn’t the reality in which we are in right now
Not sure how accurate the timelines are but it was slated that we will achieve “herd immunity” via vaccination by October/November/December 2021.
That doesn’t sit well with me.

So just more speculation? cool
When multiple industries are exploring and coming up with ideas to push people to take the vaccination and have come out and said it themselves, it’s a bit more than just speculation. But yes continue to pull the wool over your eyes.

Link me to an airline CEO saying they will force you to get vaccinated
If hospitals arent forcing employees then other industries wont.

Can you link all of these industries?
I mean...hospitals are not making it mandatory but you think mandatory vaccines are going to be a widespread thing?

The vaccination itself wouldn’t lengthen the time but the current restrictions being employed in various states are hampering a buildup of a natural herd immunity.

Imagine wanting a vaccine for a virus with a 98% survival rate for all ages.
Tens of millions get the flu vaccine every year and corona is more deadly than that. The death rate for measles is 0.2% and virtually everyone has gotten that. And so on and so on...

Here's my two cents...
I'm 59 and I've recently completed cancer treatment. I have high blood pressure (stabilized with meds) and just got a couple of stents in my LAD. I'm not in the worse shape in the world, but I'm not in the best either. I'm still getting back to normal after treatment.
I spoke to my brother tonight and discussed the vaccine. He's an MD and one of the smartest people I know. I respect his opinion on all things medical and pretty much everything else, as well.
Did he have any opinion on the vaccine, in general? Did he think Pfizer was better than Moderna, or vice versa? Should I wait to see if people started growing arms out of their foreheads?
His recommendation was to get the vaccine as soon as I qualified. He estimated that would be late Jan or early Feb. He received his today and, so far, just has some soreness at the injection site.
Contrary to the popular OT opinion of "it's just the flu" and "it has a 99.98% survival rate", he thinks that I should get the vaccine as soon as I can. He says that "You dont want anything to do with this shite."
That's good enough for me.

Depends on the hospital, I know several nurses that will be required to get the vaccine.

To be fair. You’re misleading a bit. That is Qantas which is an Australian airline. To travel internationally, a lot of countries will likely require the vaccine.
I work for DAL and can’t see them making it mandatory for domestic travel, etc. but if foreign countries (which will probably be a shite ton based on how many require a negative test) require it, then obviously they have no choice. But again, nobody is forcing you onto a plane, or to another country.

We get the measles vaccine because it wrecks children under the age of 5.

Couldn’t we have achieved this already if we just quarantined the unhealthy and elderly then let normal healthy individuals go about their lives?
No, see: Europe.
It was going to come raging back whenever things opened up.

Compare the death rate for children under 5 with measles and adults over 70 with covid 19

From their website
quote:
Do I have to receive the vaccine? No, the vaccines are not mandatory at this time. This aligns with national guidance from organizations such as the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. According to World Health Organization (WHO), immunization through vaccination is the safest way to protect against disease, and we do believe vaccination is a major step towards ending the pandemic. However, the choice to vaccinate is a personal decision and should be discussed with your healthcare provider
