He’s speaking here in the context of treating schizophrenia, which is fraught with poor adherence to treatment and where patients may be too paranoid to accurately disclose their non-adherence.

Not everywhere. The EBR school system doesn’t enforce them, i know that for sure. Also, as far as saying healthcare providers were always required to take certain shots, that is also untrue. I have worked in both education and healthcare in the BR area and never once was anyone fired over refusal to get a shot. Sure, they would threaten people that they would have to wear a mask to work if they wouldn’t take their shot. Can you imagine? That was a threat. A few people had to wear a mask to the hospital during flu season. That was the consequence. And btw i was never one of them. I was always pro vaccine before the Covid shot killed someone close to me and turned out not to work.
