There are two important points here.
1. The effectiveness and efficacy of a drug or vaccine are NOT synonymous. Many people equate the two but they are rarely the same number, effectiveness is usually lower than efficacy as determined via study. The press has generally used the terms correctly but I have yet to see anyone in the media explain the difference although they may have. So a vaccine can have an efficacy of 95% and an effectiveness of 70% and both can be accurate because they are not the same thing.
2. The original video (now deleted) was parsed in a way to make it look like he was talking about the vaccine in general when he was actually only talking about its merits versus the Omicron variant. I am not generally for deletion of this sort BUT when you edit a video to make it look like something it is not AND don't at least provide a link to the full video that is a different matter. Doing that is something that will get your post deleted here on occasion and TD is very sparing with their censorship. It is impossible to have a legitimate discussion about something when facts are being obfuscated either by design or by error.

Check out this article from Reuters. Apparently a recent common cold may provide some protection from Covid itself. This is a small scale study, but an interesting theory nonetheless.
Another reason the masks are dumb, if this is true.
