I doubt Iran is going to care that we signed a petition and Obama sure as hell isn't gonna do anything. I heard he's a Muslim.

His dad paid some people to murder his mom (from Iran but a Baton Rouge resident), and they successfully did the job but got caught. He was taking his mother's body back to Iran to be buried. While there he was detained for being a suspeccted Christian.

The purpose of the petition is to hopefully make the government aware of the situation. We all know that a petition will do nothing as far as his release is concerned. Apparently, doing nothing is the better option.

I'm pretty sure they are aware... and that they won't do a damn thing about it. It's not like this guy is the only person the Iranian government is holding prisoner right now.
They also have a former Marine, a pastor, a journalist and a contractor. I think if the government actually gave a shite they would have secured their releases during the whole nuclear treaty bullshite.

I met this guy at a party years ago and he was telling me how Iran wasn't as bad as Americans think it is. Wonder what he thinks now.
