You do realize that people/vehicles get hit by trains every damn day in the U.S.? Wanna know how many times the train crew is at fault?
People are retarded... it's a fact. But you can't go around disrupting interstate commerce because some dumb shite didn't realize he needed to move off the tracks when a train was heading in his direction.

I've seen it almost happen multiple times. I've also seen dudes run up and hitch a ride on a moving train while tailgating
Have you, or have you not, seen, heard, or know of a person who has been hit by a train on gameday through no fault of their own?

I still can't fathom why they let the trains run through on gamedays. One of the dumbest things I've ever seen
Have you ever called and tried to shut down the Illinos Central railroad here in BR..... they responded and I quote, "you dont know enough people with enough money to make that happen"

I knew a guy who used to jump on to trains and eat a hit of acid then ride the train until he was done tripping. He had to figure out how to get home.
no you didn't

Can the trains not use other RR company's tracks to avoid shite like that? I mean, it's one day, and they don't run them every gameday either. I've only seen it like 5 times

Yeah. I hear that train like every night at 12 and 2 am

No. The CN line runs by LSU and continues toward NOLA servicing the businesses along the north/east side of the MS River. KCS runs more along Airline Hwy toward NOLA. UP services the south/west side of the MS River.
They essentially all link up in one way or another in BR and again in NOLA.
They service different companies in different locations... so just switching over to another line isn't going to get anything done.
ETA - I have a Railroad Atlas that shows all the lines in the U.S. but I was able to find a map that shows LA: LINK

Supposedly the victim got mugged and stabbed then left him him on the tracks

If you get hit by a train as a pedestrian you most likely weren't going to amount to much anyway.
