Was alcohol involved?

2:30AM outside of Tigerland on one of the most popular nights of the week, it most certainly was involved. Pretty sure they said the last guy to get hit out there "fell asleep" on the tracks. Riiiiiiiight.

Sometimes people beat up and robbed and left on the tracks.

If you get hit by a train as a pedestrian you most likely weren't going to amount to much anyway.

Read that as "Person Repeatedly Hit By Train" and couldn't help but laugh

There are 100+ thousand people on campus at that time, maybe 10k around the tracks. Plus, you've also got people sitting in traffic in their cars on the tracks, and they generally have a hard time moving quickly. It certainly wouldn't be good to see a 4 year old smushed on gameday or have a train derail because it hit a truck and then something else

No, it wouldn't be good, but that's why you don't stand on the tracks when the train's coming through, butthead.

When was the last time someone got hit by a train or a train derailed near campus on gameday before midnight?
Oh, never?
Clearly we need to abolish gameday rail traffic!!!!!

law of gross tonnage= if you are the smaller vessel, GTFO of the way. doesn't matter if its gameday, kids, or drunk college students. MOVE!!!!!!!
You won't win this arguement with the railroad regardless so give it up.

I still can't fathom why they let the trains run through on gamedays. One of the dumbest things I've ever seen
Are you slow?

I've seen it almost happen multiple times. I've also seen dudes run up and hitch a ride on a moving train while tailgating
