My cousin still hasn't forgiven me for pulling a perfect pit maneuver on him when his birthday party was at a go kart place when we were nine.

Are they not concerned about other cars on the road? That white car doesn’t seem like it was too far back and would have been driving right into that truck.

Should be instant death penalty for those a’holes that put so many people at risk. Same with street racers. Hate those f’ers

They don’t mess around here. They will PIT your arse with the quickness. Just stop and no PIT worries

Are you saying the white car on the left should have stopped?

Out in California where this shite is the locals' favorite pastime they usually run a traffic break behind the chase. They can't get clearance for a PIT if there is much risk to other vehicles. I think they try spike strips first for that reason.

They face so many lawsuits over chases that it has forced them to have a pretty strict approach. They're pretty good at them, though. They don't let many get away.

I agree. A hot head cop hopped up on adrenaline, Red Bull, and Zyn shouldn't be the one making the call on a PIT when he's the lead car on a chase going 80+ mph down occupied highways. They need that decision making process removed entirely from the stressful situation. That becomes even more imperative with departments that rarely see such chases and lack experience dealing with them.

The person leading the high speed chase or the cops that flipped a truck into multiple lanes of traffic on the interstate?

Spare me. The idiot in the white SUV never slowed down with police cars and sirens coming fast. Anyone driving can clearly see that if they drive alert.

And what if they let them off at a ramp and they go thru city streets, run a red and tbone a car full of people and kill them. Its safer to PIT on the interstate with guardrails and no way for vehicle to hit cars on streets.

They have to be PIT certified to do any pitting.. And get clearance. That was not the only police car chasing it was them letting the PIT certified cop go to the front.

I don’t like police very much like the rest but there are a lot of backseat drivers in here making assumptions as fact.

Spare you, F U, I guess you’ve never had a family member almost killed by POPO chasing a petty criminal. I have so STFU. 9/10 this isn’t necessary. 2 dead high school girls in WBR Parish would agree as well. All because of a stolen car. Same as in my family members case. A stolen car.
