The governmental types were never going to allow it. They saw how easy it was to get us to cower like little beotchs in our homes in March and April.

You could still go to grocery store, Lowe's, ride a bike, go fishing, walk the dog, go get takeout from restaraunt. Nobody was chained to their house.

Easy for someone to say when they don’t have family in a nursing home

My 95 year old grandpa declared the other day that worrying about everyone getting sick and dying in nursing homes is absolutely BS since people essentially go there to die.

I am sorry your Grandpa feels that way

My 94 year old Grandpa decided he needed to go to one since taking care of a house was too much for him & he needed extra help
He chose to go & quickly became involved with activities & church
He no longer had meals alone
He seemed to be much happier since he was able to be more social

The fact is there are people dying in nursing homes due to depression & giving up
These people need to see their family

Keeping nursing homes closed isn’t saving anyone, it’s doing more harm than good from a mental health aspect

There are cleaning / masks / social distancing procedures that can be followed but there nothing to fix an elderly person that gives up because they feel like their family abandoned them

As long as 3rd party vendors are allowed in & staff is constantly changing keeping family out really isn’t making a difference

Agree. But too bad. Those are the people that will overwhelm the hospitals and must be protected.

Why? I’f you tested positive for antibodies that would mean you’ve had the virus and have already recovered

Public schools will not reopen under Phase 2 versus they will reopen in Phase 3. That’s my understanding.
