If she gets this distressed over internet comments and a message board, it's Scruffy's professional opinion that she needs to step away from Facebook and seek counseling. Her emotional investment in this stuff is passed the point of unhealthy.

So, she has probably had a superiority complex. As the people around her outperformed her and passed her up, she no longer had status superiority to buoy her personality, so she sought out social justice and uses the belief in herself as morally superior to fill that void.

It seriously reminds me of a girl that blew up at me and unfriended me because I laughed when she said that the CIA used satellite-based laser weapons to kill Michael Jackson. I honestly did not mean to insult her and thought she had made a fantastically dry joke.
