What is his background? He always talks about being from NBR but his page shows he graduated from some high school in Jacksonville, FL. Is he a transplant? How long has he been living in BR?

Gary is from BR. His dad lives in Jville. It appears he lived with his dad for some time through HS graduation hence the Facebook mention. Then he went to Southern, for Journalism I presume. He's gooder than me with the English language most of the time.

He's talked about being a kid and playing in certain hoods around NBR.

I have black friends(no really!) and some have indicated they'd be fine with just one of the officers being charged.
Which one has a prior incident of excessive forces? I believe it's that one.

So , just wondering. What if it comes back with a lesser charge than murder for one and nothing for the other?

Can everyone just go back to work and shite?

You tell those mfers that they can have the Liberty Place monument in NOLA and that's it. They're not getting our white officers!

how hard would it be for someone here who blogs or does podcasts to get gary on and explore his background/motives for being in BR?

Opportunities like this don't come along every day. This is SFP's chance to hit the big time.

I mentioned yesterday that I need a mindless platitude to be able to regurgitate when I don't have a decent rebuttal for something.

I agree with you. I was just thinking what if that happens. agg assault or something for whichever officer pulled the trigger.

Give him a felony on his record, just to appease a bunch of people on a witch hunt?

Those are the questions we need answers to. Would be interesting to see if he moved here post-Trayvons, etc. when all of this shite started to gear up.

He's been here for a while, IIRC. At some point was selling cars for Gerry Lane. I believe he was terminated from there and blamed it on his skin color and not his inability to sell vehicles. And that became the impetus for the full transition into community organizing.

This is the OT. Should be pretty easy to pick one.

I gathered that they felt he should be charged with something since he's done it before.

So now they are worried about the past of people involved? I thought we weren't supposed to use the past of individuals to influence our opinions on what happened.

will the DOJ give an explanation of why the officers weren't charged?

not that it will make a difference with the uneducated black folks

Of course. Why wouldn't they?

But you're right. Most of the people that will be outraged won't give a frick about any facts the DOJ releases.

Right?

Ok, it's either

This actually may explain some of his world view. The shite that was said around that place....

Wonder if he was one of the fellers that sued, and lost.

A grown arse woman who takes halfway-slutty mirror-selfies and gives herself compliments just about every day (she tries to be keen about it, but she's not)., if you read her page...she's a nutcase who is too lazy and "victim-minded" to contribute anything worthwhile to society. Maybe if she would actually get a job and stop blaming men for being horny, she'd lighten up. If my wife behaved on social media like that, I would be fricking embarrassed. God damn, Facebook needs filters.
