Boats for as long as there have been boats have been called she, her, etc.

I wonder how long it'll be before boats start getting pissed that we assume their genders.

School administrators seem to have difficulty seeing the difference between actual weapons and things that look nothing like weapons...

It's definitely a bizarre psychology at play, but I also find people who treat animals as people somewhat bizarre.

I understand how animals can fill a companionship void, but some really seem to take it too far.
