...When they attend a Harvard sponsored workshop or certificate program. In the persons thumbnail where its lists education they opt to write Harvard.

I have known a few people in the past do this but currently I am doing a lot a database building and I am parsing data from LinkedIn and I have seen this quite a few times. I guess if they show up in some database where people were looking to hire people with Harvard in their profile they can work out for them but it seems to me it will blow up in their face. Yeah I should mind my own business but Hell if somebody bothers me than it’s my business

I only hire southeastern grads. If someone sends in a resume with Harvard or any Ivy League school I throw that in the waste paper basket next to the coffee vending machine.

I was trying to save money by building a database by parsing LinkedIn data. Not worth it. It’s too time consuming and I’m getting a lot of shite data but I guess that’s for the tech board. OK I got it out of my system thanks guys

Princeton > Harvard

We need more engineers and fewer lawyers.

There was a girl I used to work with who did that.....went around and told everyone she went to Harvard when in reality she did a summer long certificate course. I mean she did spend all summer in Cambridge and went to classes on the campus taught by Harvard professors and it did involve a lot of work.......but its not the same as really being admitted as a student or post grad.
