I just don’t know any of these people. Have literally never met one. If they exist, then I wouldn’t enjoy their company.
But this seems like a character on TV that you think exists but have never personally met. But I don’t know you, so maybe I’m wrong.
Also, the word “triggered” has become so bastardized and overused that it’s basically lost all meaning.

There was one guy that I used to know who would post bullshite like, "How can people care about football when there is so much wrong going on in the world." Then he would post stuff about his television shows that he liked. Dude was generally pretty obnoxious, and this definitely wasn't the worst thing about him.

I think OP nailed it. I personally know a few people exactly like that, right down to the whole “sportsball” thing. They are usually hipsters who spend their time jacking off to indie music and pretending that making a latte is art.

Living in Alabama, I am surrounded by people who care about football more than anything in the world. When trying to talk other sports with them they act like the only other sports that exist are gymnastics and softball, which of course are the only things Alabama is worth a damn in. Baseball and basketball, what's that? Those aren't sports. I hate Alabama and all of their fans.

Hey, I could definitely be wrong about there being a lot of these people out there. I’ve somehow been lucky enough to never meet one, apparently. I’d be happy to keep it that way.
