People who fail at taking your order

I don't understand why it's so hard for some people. You place the order, they repeat it back to you, ring it up, and you confirm. Half the time I order food to go I get assaulted with questions.
Are you on your way?
Do you want everything on that salad?
Do you want corn on your salad? (does it come with corn, yes it comes with corn but you don't have to have it on there, well if it comes with it I want it)
Do you want veggies with that? (It's what it says it comes with isn't it?)
Then they are so focused on asking you all these miscellaneous questions about fine tuning your order they forget what you ordered in the first place. (what type of dressing did you say you wanted on your salad?)

Yes, but I'm not a POS. If I'm doing something, I'm going to try to do it well, which I guess is part of the reason I don't make $8.50/hr.

I had a bitch at IHOP Sunday forget 2 drinks.

Seriously. The manager will make sure the food is made correctly paying attention to avoiding cross contamination with allergens.

There’s a Hispanic looking waiter at the Oyster Bar & Grill in Shreveport who doesn’t even carry a pen. He listens intently to your order and nails it every time without writing anything down. Doesn’t have to ask who ordered what when the food is brought to the table - just puts what everyone ordered in front of them.
I don’t eat there often and he doesn’t always wait on me but he remembers what I usually order.
