Not having free time because of your kid isnt being an incapable moron
Can you randomly go out for a beer on every tuesday night when someone calls you up 30 minutes before? No
Can you still make a shite ton of functions like nights out and crawfish boils? Yes

That's generally the case. As people get older they need to be entertained less, settle in on the things that are important and value free time at home. Careers can run you down.

That's probably how they sucker you in
At this point, all our friends have kids and it's impossible to coordinate shite, so I guess we'll just have kids too

I know a handful of couples who want nothing to do with kids. the people who choose not to have kids are just selfish individuals. Some are too young to know what they want and that's fine but others just want to have a lifestyle without kids. People that choose to have only one kid are also kinda weird. It's like they want a medal for being a parent but still too shitty to offer them a sibling or deal with the baby phase of life more than once.
I honestly have no use for people that don't want kids but still get married.

Yeah but I can show them pictures and videos of how much fun my life was before them.

I never see my friend anymore after she adopted a baby(who is now 2 and quite adorable). Sadly her husband(whom I was friends with first before even knowing her) isn't very supportive of her having any time with girlfriends. She finally met me for happy hour one time and he kept blowing up her phone asking when is she coming home. She couldn't even enjoy herself the hour she was hanging out with me.
She always posts on my fb "I miss you, we need to hang out soon". Keep telling her I realize how busy she is and just let me know when and I will work around her schedule. But it never happens. It's ok...I'm sure she will get more time for herself once her daughter is a little older.

maybe they just dont like you..I use my kids as excuses to not go places all the time

People that completely disappear after having kids, either didnt like you to begin with or dont have a good support/teamwork with their spouse/family

Most of their houses are a mess. Well at least a mess to me. I give them shite about it and they just tell me its impossible to keep clean

It's crazy too because he is a really nice guy and not the type at all that I would ever think would act this way. He works from home a lot so is also used to caring for the baby at home while she is at work.
She planned our happy hour weeks in advance. Told him about it numerous times. Yet he was freaking out the entire time she was with me.

Probably because priorities change, and the things you derive pleasure from change. The happiest people I know are those who spend most of their free time with their children.
Usually the freedom to do other things gradually returns after they escape the toddler stage.

I can't imagine anything worse than being broke and having kids. Having kids while having enough money for regular baby sitters, vacations, help around the house, etc. doesn't seem bad at all.
