Roger and Pecker are making two different arguments, both of which are correct.
Pecker is saying that anyone can give good advice. Obviously true. Roger is arguing that the experience level of the advice giver plays into their credibility. Also obviously true.

I’ve probably slept in over 600 hotel rooms in my lifetime. Still not qualified to run a hotel.
LL I’m just busting your balls.

Yep.

Right but the original point was that non parents can give good advice. Rodger continuously tried to change the argument.

I know you are. I have no parenting advice anyway. I don’t want to be anywhere near any of it.
The only way your argument would be comparable is if you were employed by the hotel. In which case, yes being employed by the hotel means you probably have some valid advice on running it. :)
Point being - I understand that emotions come into play when we’re talking about parenting. Biology makes humans love their children unconditionally. So I get why parents get offended at non parent advice. But it doesn’t make their reaction rational - just understandable.

I'm heading to the gym. I should have been there 45 minutes ago but I got stuck talking about whether I should be able to talk about parenting.
For any mothers reading this thread, I recommend your children have a diet high in protein and low in carbs, especially sugars, with vegetables making up the bulk of the carbs. Physical activity is also recommended.

No I didn't.
I made the initial claim I wouldnt trust advice from non parents, pecker tried to argue otherwise.
He hpmade a good point, but he doesn't understand why good advice goes unheeded

My bad, I lost track of the original point pages ago.

I don't trust this statement.

Do you still Nanny? My kids are too old for a nanny but I could make an exception for you given your experience

Plan on living large without having kids to worry about until I'm about 60, then finding a young little fox to impregnate strictly to carry on the bloodline
Wife is cool with it

People who say they aren't having kids are basically saying everything their ancestors went through and ovecame to allow their existence were so that they could enjoy ~80 easy years watching Netflix, going to Whole Foods, and keeping up with what their friends are doing on Facebook.
Evidently you place a high value on these things. And, seem too incompetent to consider that a loving relationship is more than those. Seriously, I am embarrassed for you and others like you. I am embarrassed for myself for wallowing too long responding to your idiotic post.

It makes you qualified to do pretty much anything.
