My inner New Iberia comes out when I get mad.

You don't change your speech to adapt to your environment? If I am around a bunch of old ladies, I don't talk the way I do around my friends.. I think everyone, to some degree, will go off the rail when they get mad.

My wife tends to try and bend her accent to match the accent of whomever she's talking to. Aggravates the hell out of me.

Ever know anyone who is articulate and well spoken normally but when they get mad they start talking differently?
Yeah, me.
I'm as soft-spoken and easygoing as they come IRL. Piss me off and I'll F-bomb the frick out of you.

I get smarter. I use bigger words so that the person feels dumb. I dumb down my normal talk so people aren't intimidated.

Every white female from the best bank will chickenhead like they're having a seizure when they get worked up.

Yes, my southern accent comes out when I am on a rant.
This. I'm pretty well acclimated to the north now, but when I get pissed off about something I get back my strong south Louisiana accent.
