Do you realize how disgusting those screens are? Plumbers, and crack heads, and Homeless people with fingers full of shite and jizz rub all over them and then you touch them and then you eat.

A couple of years ago, the Picadilly in Essen put one of those in and I couldn't imagine a worse location for one of those machines. It didn't last long.

I think OP is talking about the ones that have an actual touch screen you have to navigate through with the single dispenser.

Haven't been there in years. I'm not a big fast food fan but if I need to eat something quick it's usually Wendy's here cause I don't have many better options like a chic Fil a or something. The downside of small town living I guess

Such a backwards upgrade. Before you had two machines that had around 6 options each. Walk up and get what you want quickly while other people fill their cups at the same time next to you. Now you stand in single file line while everyone navigates a menu... to get a Coke.

Some of those machines are so poorly designed.
i kept pressing in dr pepper, and it kept wanting me to pick another flavor. I'm like no, i picked Dr Pepper, no extra flavor, and pressed in the button. Nothing. Went to Coke, worked.
And if a soda is out, it doesnt even tell you, so people continue to try and get it 2 work. even the $15'rs are better at their job than those asinine machines.

There's a main line running through those old machines...with T's to each individual nozzle. You ever see the actual syrup boxes right next to the machine? Nahh, they're in the way back, dozens of feet away. It's all still getting mixed together in the old machine.
Also, do you really think that soaking a nozzle overnight in water takes out the crud from the day before? Or the nozzles go on the same everyday?
Just grab a bottle and be smart.

Bad thing is I only needed ice cause I drink either sweet tea or water. I don't drink soda except 1 Coca Cola in the morning cause I don't like coffee

Same people who touched the door handles, the counter, the backs of the chairs, the napkin/cup/straw dispenser, the ketchup packets, etc.
