There's a guy at work who had the Rona in April. Good guy, I like him.

He was sick, but not deathly ill. Bad cough, tired, typical "sickness".

Anyway, even before mask mandate he religiously wore his mask.

I was like, "but you already had it". He responded "they say that you can get it again".

Do you all know anyone like this? It just seems kinda sad to me.

It is sad that you can't mind your own business.

Yes and there is nothing that says you are immune to getting it again and no proof that he doesn't carry it and can spread, so if he chooses to wear a mask why does it bother you?

There is no single case of reinfection. GTFO with that. We are 8 months into this. It cannot happen.

The reason I care is it does affect me. The more people go along with stupid fear mongering, the more stupid shite we have to put up with.

It's sad that the media has put irrational fears into people.

So you’re saying it is your civil right to not have to wear a mask... but him wearing his mask has too much of an impact for you to handle?

Covid aside, you sound like an insufferable person to be around.

Don't worry about it

If he is wearing a cloth mask he has a higher chance of getting it

So maybe the stupidity will solve itself

Do you have evidence that you can not get it again?

Basically, every non mutating virus before Covid. Chicken pox etc.

SARS patients still have T/B cell immunity 17 years later.

Not a single confirmed reinfection 8 months into this.

Imagine being bothered by what another man chooses to do with his life that doesn’t affect you...

There's no leading scientist who believes you can definitely get it twice, but a lot of them think it may be possible.

People who think you can definitely be reinfected are just freaking about possibly losing antibodies after a few months which doesn't really tell the full story.

I do.
I don't frick with him or anything. Just had simple question and that was answer.

What people do at work and in society does drive culture though.

If we don't stop morons from giving out pronouns and shite, soon we'll all have to do it.

If some wear masks in perpetuity, many of us will be forced to as well.

Yep. Very low chance though.
And even if did, it would be incredibly mild.

Maybe he doesn’t wanna have to keep explaining himself to people when he’s the only one without a mask.

So this Coronavirus is like no other Coronavirus and the human immune response is for life.

My wife has had COVID and still wears a mask every day during consults on and off COVID units but she isn't a virologist just a dumbass surgeon. She still knows more about virology than you do.

So there are no cases of reinfection... so what makes you say that if it did happen, it would be mild? You’re just making stuff up now.
