Why is this so hard for people to grasp?
I would imagine the people having trouble with this method are either from Arkansas or Bama. They don’t have much experience brushing their tooth.

Neither. Toothpaste on dry brush keeps the bristles more firm... firmer brush cleans teeth more thoroughly.
