I ran into the back of this smoking hot chick leaving a stop light once because I was sending an email. Good way to meet laides.....yeah. Good way to lose money....yeah
I don't do it anymore, and just let my Google Voice take the helm. It understands even the most obscure words and names so I don't have to sit there and type everything out

I was riding side by side with a chick driving and texting next to me. We came up to a busy intersection (she still had her face buried in her phone) and the light was green so right when we crossed the intersection I laid on my horn and scared the shite out of her.

I average around 25K miles/year of interstate/highway travel. Usually try to run between 75 - 80 MPH. Amazed at the number of people who pass me while texting, posting, tweeting or whatever they're doing with their phones.

I used to when we had phones with buttons (Blackberry) because I could type without looking, but I actually have to look at a touch screen phone.
ETA: I text at red lights if I have a text that needs to be answered, but I cannot text and physically drive at the same time.

A month or so ago I was dropping my kid off at school.
On way back home, about a mile from school this dumbass girl in front of me just verves off road down into the ditch, comes back out, loses control and goes in the other lane.
She stops and of course I stop... her car is sideways, she says scared to death, I was reading an email.
Very easliy could have hit head on with someone taking their kid to school.
It been real funny then wouldn't it?
Everyday people are doing this shite.
Dumbass inconsiderate assholes will get you an accident quicker than anything.
