Basically, I don’t want to look like a POS and the sense of accomplishment is a biggy.

I hate it while I’m doing it because I don’t have the nice equipment to make it easy. But the satisfaction when I’m done is worth it.
But I totally get what you’re saying. Some people get way too into it. Mostly retirees.

i hate it, i still have allergies and they go off like a time bomb when i cut grass, or pollen is in the air. It f'in sucks.

My neighbor cuts his grass three times a week. Minimum. I hope he isn’t doing it to try to get me to cut mine more often, because mine gets cut every ten days. I’m not doing it anymore than that.

I don't love doing yard work, but I don't hate it either. It's something that has to be done so I just do it without complaint and try not to put it off too long.
