It's been 20 yrs since I served but at that time only certain jobs required any type of mental eval. I would hope it's more standard now.

I'm all for people joining the military if that is what they want, I just don't understand how a trans person could pass any type of rigorous mental evaluation
But I guess that is what they are changing, that we now can't hold obvious mental disorder against them
I guess in the end it really doesn't matter. People like to say how small the trans population is, so its not like this will have a huge affect on the military.

I think the number of trans in the military will be minute, but it will greatly change the environment for everyone. Things will never be the same, and not in a good way.

the percentage of transgender people in the U.S. is between .2% and .3%..not even a half of 1% of the population...so why in the frick are we doing all this shite to accommodate them? and why...GOD why are we letting it directly effect our military that is charged with the defense of this nation...the defense of 318.86 million people...WE R frickED
