Was brother Ray there when you went?

Sure was. It was in the early part of his administration, a few years after Brother Jeff (?) left.

Before that I was at William Pitcher, which was aggressively ghetto even back then.

Still pulls the one of highest PSF price points in area. Don’t have to cross river, don’t have to take 190 north of 12. Both are disasters during commute.

Beau Chene was the place to be 20 years ago, there’s a fricking goodwill in front of it now.

Damn. This was definitely about 20 years ago. It was seemingly a pretty exclusive neighborhood back in the late 90s

Pitcher is one of the worst schools in the state now, the only reason I went to SPS is because I was expelled from Jesuit, but I still loved it

Which subdivision? Was your car broken into or did you leave it unlocked and they opened it? Weren't those arrested from other parishes?

Definitely have some good SPS memories. What I really like is that I dodged the typical American high school experience. I got a preview of it at William Pitcher, and I really wanted to continue on to CHS, but on balance SPS was probably one of my parents' good ideas.

Did you take Boswell's chemistry class? That guy was a trip.

This past year I’ve seen more and more young black men casing my house, my car has been broken into twice, I live off 1085, it’s just making me nervous, I hope it’s a number game like you say:

We live off of 1085 too and haven’t experienced anything like this. Are you closer to Covington? We’re in Madisonville. We used to live in BR and I never felt safe there. I feel extremely safe here.

Well, the other victim was in Lewisburg (nice area down on the lake). I was in Westwood... it's no Lewisburg, but I was still in my 20s.

My car was unlocked. Didn't really have anything valuable in it, just some (replaceable) CDs.

Gentrification in New Orleans is ruining the suburbs as the trash is being pushed to JP, northshore and the river parishes. Nola will continue to be shite as most of the people moving here are liberal SJWs so Democrats will continue to get elected. All in all, the entire metro area is declining.
