Well, I'd say it's the people that were so horribly affected by the feels that they decided to cry out and cause a centuries old institution to change a long-time policy to accommodate their sensitivity, but that's just me. I'll stand back and let you try to make a trite attempt at saying that they're equivalent, though.

"Doctorate" comes from the Latin word meaning "to teach" and the title of Doctorate has been awarded as the highest degree from universities for longer than "doctor" has been a profession. In fact, the roots began in the Catholic Church about 1000 years ago.
There are different kinds of doctors. Deal with it.

I see trouble on the horizon brewing for LSU and Tulane. LSU will be forced to drop the name Tigers and Tulane will have to be renamed due to Paul Tulane's plantation where he had slaves. If Haaaarvvvvaad is implementing these issues then its a matter of time before it comes to Louisiana.
