Read that again, slowly, and then punch yourself in the face for being an idiot.

So, you can’t drive to someone’s house at 8:30 pm for sex?

I can’t believe they are trying to limit people’s contact with each other. The statistics clearly show Louisiana is doing perfectly fine as is and no changes need to be made. It’s not like this will help curtail cases and deaths. God forbid they don’t allow me to leave my property after dark. I was really planning on not watching Netflix, eating dinner etc. I was really planning on spending a frick ton of money between 8pm-6am that would’ve saved small businesses too. Those are the hours I typically support small businesses.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Great quote. First of all, wasn't Martin Luther (who was responsible for the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century) who said this. This quote is from someone who lived in Germany under the Nazis. If you know anything about the Nazis, it was a populist based fascist movement. Another thing about the Nazis, they hated socialists, so if you are using this out of concern for America becoming a socialist state then you might want to reconsider.

I have been one to be on the side of government issues such as stay at home orders and banning gatherings.
But nobody's going to tell me I can't leave my house.

I'm using it out of concern of the government overstepping its bounds and the vast majority of people not caring because it doesnt effect them.

What the frick does this accomplish?

What is honestly the logic behind a curfew during times like this? The street lights and law enforcement still work fine.

It is an effort to not be the one who didn't do enough. It has reached the stage where all of these officials are doing the same thing over and over but they are just calling it something different.
If you pay attention to all of these directives and orders, each successive one says essentially the same damn thing. Every mayor of every one horse town is now having to get in on the action, either to save face or for the sake of political expediency.

They may catch more local village idiots more than anything else.
If it was me it would the cha Ching like Roscoe on the Dukes of Hazard. I would set up traffic surveillance on Hwy 90 making money.
