He said "Living in a first world country with the least educated population". That sounds like a rather oppressive position to be in.

It blows my mind so many posters are in favor of this.

A church should not be prevented from any activity, just because they are a church.

A church should not be granted any special rights, just because they are a church.

Same. What happened to freedom to peacefully assemble?

Have you pushed for the closing day of Walmart or Costco?

Considering they're grocers. No. But our Governor also wrote in executive orders forcing them to social distance, limit the number of people inside, etc. or he would have to shut them down. The Costco's here have been doing that from the get go though.

The church here that's suing had the option of a drive-thru service. No different then asking those stores and other businesses to practice social distancing.

It shouldn't.

Most of the posters of the OP have a wicked bark but when the chips are down, they're a bunch of pussies. Many of them are just afterbirth who should be placed into a camp for orderly disposal. They are worthless human beings who contribute nothing and try to pretend they're jocks when, in fact, they rock a mean dad bod and can't lift their own body weight.

Church is in your heart and in your home, at least that's what my Christian church taught me.

Them gathering at church is fulfilling a need for attention, nothing more and nothing less, and is not Christ-like. It's selfish.

I feel bad for these kids.

You're damn right I'm mad. I don't take the restriction of constitutional liberties lightly, especially when those restrictions are based on incomplete/incorrect data.

They want it both ways, depending on their current situation.
You can either have the 1st Amendment or you can't, but you don't get to pick and choose who it applies to and who it doesn't

Christianity isn’t outlawed. Thousands of churches are holding services online without a problem.

They're being denied the right to assemble to worship and thus are figuring out a way to approximate practicing their religion.

Christianity hasn't been singled out to be "outlawed", but we are certainly being denied our right to practice our religion.
Communion and fellowship are part of it.

This is something Protestants wouldn't understand, but to the practicing Catholic/Orthodox, the Eucharist is the most sacred part of Christianity. Catholic and Orthodox Christians are being denied the Eucharist and that's something no virtual "worship service" can make up for.

Anyone who thinks otherwise, they are most likely members of a man-made church that is less than 500 years old.

I really doubt that you were ever taught that you didn't need to go to Church.

If Church/religion has no public aspect, "freedom of religion" is kind of meaningless.

I understand people who agree with shutting down the Churches since other large gstherings are shutdown, but people should be honest and admit that an inalienable and founding right is being taken away.
