Since I am off for the next couple months...why not?!

Does anyone know if there are any places in the BR area that needs the type of service the ole' boys in the Home Depot parking lot provide, only legally?

I am hoping to find a couple days a week...enough for summer spending cash. I find I tend to spend more money in the summer, so I think this might help.

Thanks!

Sign up with a labor pool supply company or check Craigslist.

Labor pool supply company? Is that similar to a staffing agency that deals specifically with odd jobs?

Sign up with a temp company. Manpower and Lofton are both good ones.

I bet you could shed weight and get ripped being a roofer/shingler in the summer.

If you think a teacher can step into being a roofer in Louisiana, in the summer, I don't think you have ever met a teacher...or have been a roofer.

I don't need to lose any weight, and I especially don't think I want to be on a roof in the heat of Louisiana's summer months...

Wnna play golf for free, get tips, and possibly smash a wealthy older woman?

Be a cart attendant at a golf course.

Well, Rando, this teacher has actually done roofing work with his uncle in the past. That's how I know I don't want to do that. If you're thinking teachers are soft, you are making a sweeping generalization. Not everybody can be a US Marine or a cop...just saying.

...now, try to be more helpful, sir.

Hit some of the local contractors and see if they are hiring summer help

Dear sensitive butterfly,

I recommended you an extremely sweet gig that pays fairly well if you hustle.

And has perks that make it worth it.

I could put you to work on general things on rental property and other work we have. Always looking for someone reliable even if only for a short time

Do you have any experience robbing crack dealers? It's demanding but the pay is great.

Get your OSHA card and hire on as a helper or laborer with one of the big industrial construction companies in the area. They'll probably put you to work in a plant for a few months. Its not glamorous, but you'll make great money for a summer job.

You seem to simply want to occupy my time and get me in trouble, sir.
