The city is already claiming they are spending $400k a day on this deal and they plan to recoup that money.

Was the plan to be in there in less than 3 days? I honestly don't know.

There was no fricking plan. Nothing went as planned.

The reason they gave to blow the cranes down was to recover the bodies. That was the mission.

That still hasn’t happened.

One of the bodies apparently was obliterated.

Slabs of falling concrete will do that. Sucks, but the recovery mission is more than likely a cleanup mission.

Jesus Christ; you have gotten your head beat in the last dozen or so pages.

Just say 'I don't know' instead of talking out your arse.

The part with low crime and no boil orders.

Way to go on another tangent to make yourself look like a fool.

Uhh. They blew the cranes to keep them from toppling over onto adjoining structures.

Naw. Not even close. The larger of the two cranes was structurally unstable. They were seriously concerned with a collapse. That’s why they rushed to demo them. Normally that’s a very long process not done in a few days.

I'm pretty sure if there werent bodies, they would have demolished the entire building and the cranes together to fall inward.

Exactly my point.

Side note, it’s been 12 days, how decomposed do you think those bodies are by now? That smell must be insanely ridiculous

The reason they had to blow those cranes is because they were going to fall at any moment. This was a controlled way of taking them down as best they could.

You can say it wasn’t a success all you want, but the bottom line is no one was hurt, the only damage appears to be the street and the evacuation zone has now shrunk and we can move to the next step. It may not look pretty, but overall it was very much a success.

I'm going to go ahead and change sides to there being a hole under the crane.
