I’ve been told not to park in the parking garage of the Smoothie King Center because you can spend forever trying just to get out.

Are there lots within walking distance? Up the street maybe? I don’t do New Orleans very often so I am completely unfamiliar with the area.

Just park anywhere under the overpass. It will say “no parking towing enforced” but that’s all just BS. Don’t forget your mask!

Never had a huge problem getting out. I have had SERIOUS problems finding my car after a few drinks. If I remember correctly, there are two main sections to that garage, and the numbers are very similar.

I think we walked around garage #5 for two hours, but were parked in garage #6. All the rows and spaces had the same numbers. I seriously thought my car had been stolen.

Last Saints game I went to, we used the Champions Garage with zero problems.

Parking in the Superdome is crazy bad.
I always park in the parking garage that is across the street from the Smoothie King Center on the Loyola St. side and never had an issue getting out.

go to Juans on Baronne. park your car and eat a burrito. walk to the SKC. when leaving, you just drive straight down Baronne to I-10

there are lots between Poydras & Julia for $20, I've parked there for Pelican games the past few seasons, short walk. Easy to get back to I-10 or Westbank.

If it is for a Pelicans game... we always park in the Superdome garage on Poydras.. never takes long to get out and easy access to I-10

If you’re unfamiliar I’d highly suggest parking in the garage. It may take you a little longer to get out but you won’t get lost either.

I 100% agree with this comment after going to see him in Baton Rouge. At 40 years old, I and my date were the youngest people there. We got hushed by the old folks for singing along with "Fire and Rain".

I always park in the garage, never an issue, usually surprised at how fast I get out.
