This neckbeard, hipster, scooter riding silly shite is the dumbest thing on this board that you mouth breathers constantly throw out about anyone who drinks anything other than BMC.
This is La not Seattle. Stop with the stupidity.
And no I'm not pre-ordering or standing in line for any beer, but just wanted to point this out.
Carry on.

the hours you spend procuring GITM into the equation
It hasn't taken hours to procure regular Ghost (when it is available) since the Summer of Ghost started last summer. Now that it is available year round you'll be able to go to many local stores and get it whenever....hell I've been getting it in Church Point for the last 3 months whenever I want it.
Now DDH GITM is different....it is a special release. I stood in line to get some last year and it was good beer BUT I'm not going to do that again especially with how stupid the pre-order was with 10 case limits.

So you should try actually going to a release at Parish.....it is a shitshow of "neckbeard, hipster, scooter riding silly shite". I thought I was in a different country when I went to get some DDH Ghost last year. Literally 30-50 neckbeards took over the tables outside sipping random beer from each other (a lot of which was unlabeled crowlers and growlers) while some ugly chicks held their place in line. It was not pretty.

Most overrated beer of all time...
I'm interested to see what the sales look like on the secondary market....they have some out there listed at $120 a 4 pack. If I knew I could get that I would have gotten my 10 damn cases too....BUT I don't think it will sell for near that.

Maybe so, but it’s the same comments in every beer related thread on the OT.
Go see the thread about going to breweries.
That’s probably a halfway troll thread, but the point stands

If your contention is that going to the brewery on a regular day is different then I 100% agree.....because those assholes are too far above us to go sit in a brewery and drink...hell now they have to show you have much Trillium or Treehouse they have to drink.
So yea just going to the brewery is different I'd even call it a fun activity that I like to do often.....releases are shite shows.

The only craft beers I drink are andygator and bud light platinum

stereotypes exist for a reason. They're true. if the craft beer crew would quit circle jerking every time this beer is sold, they' wouldn't catch shite for it.

For those asking what time to arrive and get in line- we have been told that some people will be camping out the night before.
Holy shite. I love my IPAs and all, and enjoy the hell out of Ghost. But screw that noise. It’s just beer, people.

If you are are drinking domestic beer at around 4-5% then it takes 2 of them to equal a ghost.
it's the reason I lean IPA or doppelbach over amber/lager. I'll pay a little more because I can drink 2 ghosts and it's equivalent to like 4-5 domestics

to each his own but I think that it was the 2nd best dipa i had last year and the 3rd best IPA I had.
1. Infinity + 1 - sand city
2. Biggie Biggie Biggie - monkish
3. DDH ghost in the machine
50. Juice Machine (so overrated)

IPAs are fricking terrible and I refuse to pretend they aren't just to appease the beer hipsters.
