My son, now 22 y/o, took it daily for many years. Like from kindergarten all the way thru high school. Never had any problems from it.

my 10 year old is just like you described...we use Xyzal daily and have for a couple years. No issues so far and it makes a big difference in him.
no more preventative breathing treatment daily, hardly any eczema compared to before and really no more asthma attacks or very very rare. And when he doesnt take it....nose immediately starts running and he starts getting allergy symptoms almost immediately...so its working.
we started with 1/2 tablet(2.5mg) and pretty much stayed there until about 6 months or so ago when we needed to up to a full 5mg pill to control everything. I would start at 2.5mg and only work up if you need to.

Try and find something other than Singular. We had bad results with it.
