Look at what you quoted there. Waste time doing what?

I have a son, he's younger, already been stated, thanks for dropping a line

Fwiw, I think prom is an idiot on this issue. If you want your kid to play organized sports and there's a league for it, have at it.

A waste of time on this activity at this time.
Too young. She won't care 10 minutes in.
She'd be more interested in the park or other things. Standing around playing ball right now requires concentration on one thing.
Just don't think there's a point in it right now.

Maybe you should look at yourself and laugh because you interject garbage into what could have been a 1-2 page thread that accomplished a goal.
Because you got all angry when people were in disbelief that kids can play in a t ball league that young. You resorted to childish name calling, and them tried to act all high and mighty.
If you really want me to post facts, I can go back through and cite examples, again.

That was me imitating you, bud. You are obviously the one who can't be bothered to spend a little time letting your kid assimilate into a social environment, no matter what the activity, or what may actually happen at the event.
What is the big deal if your kid isn't in ready position for every batted ball.
You seem like the guy that I am being compared to. The one who takes this so seriously that there is no way his kid is going out on that field until they can dominate. Get over YOURSELF. As much as you want to make this a me issue, it appears to be much more of a YOU issue.
I played, maybe you did too. I know what it's like to have parents yelling at you. I don't intend on being one of those, but I'll be damned if I am not going to use constructive criticism to curb behaviors on the diamond, just as I do in my home.

It's your story. Tell it like you want.
4&U sports leagues are ridiculous.

The first 2 comments were LOL. I don't understand, is it funny that there is a league for younger kids?
Or were you laughing at the fact that I would place my kid in such a league.
You already stated that you grasped that there was a league based on my OP, so why the sarcastic bull crap comment.
"I didn't want to say it"
What did you not want to say? LOL?

just curious Mike, can your 2 year old swim yet?
Posted on 3/11/14 at 12:10 pm to Bacciagaloop
I was shocked that there was such a league. Thought about posting that same comment.
Happy?
Happy?

We have an instructional league out here it usually involves kids 4 and under. Most of these kids have never thrown or seen a baseball before. Tball starts at 5 years old but there is tryouts and if a 4 year old can play and some can he or she is allowed to play up. Most of the 4's that can play have older sibling and it makes it nice when some of the sibling can play together.

Lol at a 2 year old demanding cleats and having to be pacified with them as if she is seeing tons of cleat commercials during Dora. OP is desperate to live vicariously through his kids' athletic feats, must have been an uncle Rico type in hs.

You went and did it now.

Also, the premise that a 2 (almost 3) year old and a 4 year old have a vastly different length of attention span is LOLtastic.
Posted on 3/11/14 at 12:25 pm to Coon
My kid played soccer at 3 and had absolutely no interest, we actually just stopped going because he didn't want to. One year later he can't wait to get on the field and scores pretty much every goal for his team.

Interest=attention span?
If he had no interest at 4, would his attention span be any different?
Eta: also, congrats on Pele2

Screw what these other people are saying, if she wants to be active and play outside that's a great thing. If you are able to do it with her that is even better. It's not like you are hitting her ground balls and making her take 50 swings a day.

goddamn, a bunch of dicks up in here. OP just wanted to know where to find some small cleats for his daughter. My daughter just turned 1 but I cant wait to be able to get her on the field. Hell by 6 year old son and the rest of his team are about as clueless as 3 year olds.
Whatever brings you happiness is all that matters.
