did you even read the thread title?

T'was my response when the OP started whining about not getting enough serious answers.

God forbid (NB4 religion hijack) I interject a little humor into what was a very casual direction of the thread. I forgot everything has to be taken literal by the OT community.

I did sense your humor in this thread not all of us have to remove the stick from our arse.

Funny thing is you go to most baseball associations now most of the cheering and good times are going on at the tball fields enjoy them when they are young.

who cares what the attention span is. It's more of a social thing. I say go for it. You cant expect a 3 or 4 or even a 5 year old to take Tball seriously

Spending $30 on my daughter's cleats must seem like alot to all you miserable turds who probably need that money so you can put it toward the next video game for your fat kids.

My $30 bucks will be spent on a tee and whiffle balls in my backyard. She wanted to play organized. I didn't see the need to travel to a park to do less work than we could get done in the backyard.

Good luck, sport. If she needs an agent, call me.

Look, my niece just turned 3, and I couldn't imagine her being in a t ball league right now. She is a bright child, but kids her age are too aloof to have balls hit/thrown at them during a game. Way to many distractions. I say give her one more year.

My opinion would be to buy a book, and spend some QT with your kid covering all the basics.

You can, and will, ultimately do what you want. In fact, you probably know what is best for child.

Just don't act like you do on here when you are at your kid's games.

How many practices are there in a week? How long are they? How many games are there?

I can see where being in the field with the kids can help with learning basics.

I can't help with the shoes, my kids play sports barefoot.

Go to academy and buy the smallest size possible and stuff a sock or something in it. They have cleats for 9 dollars. It will make her happy.

Oh, don't use reason to deal with people who are unable to reason. You're right... I did make that mistake.

Thanks for your advice that I didn't ask for. I think I have plenty of knowledge to teach my kid how to play Tball. I played varsity baseball and coach JV and Varsity baseball.

I believe his thread title was a bit tongue in cheek. I'm pretty sure he knows his kid isn't a future HOF'er. The guy was just seeing if somebody knew where to find toddler cleats. May not be for everybody, and likely the game that will be played will be a bunch of parents laughing at the kids chasing the ball, or the kid with their glove on their head I don't think any kid is going to get burnt out for having played "baseball" at 3. It really is a league for parents and the OP admits as much in the 2nd sentence. I believe folks just took this way to seriously and wanted to bash the guy for being "one of those dads" when everything seems to point to the fact that he's just wondering if they make cleats for lil people. The guy clearly says the girl doesn't need cleats, but thought he'd come on here and see if anyone knew. Of course, instead, he gets a lot of bullshite like most anybody else that posts on here. End rant [Shakes head that I just had a rant about a thread that should've been about kids cleats]

I just think this is more about the parents at this point than it is the kids.

It's like that with a lot of parents at any age group. Ever been to a little league game these days? There isn't any difference at 4yo or 14.

Nothing wrong with them going out there having fun. Even at that age, if they have older siblings or cousins, they are wanting to do it too if they see them.

Had trouble with a small 4 year old...so he's wearing cleats a size too big, but they work.

Outfitted the little champ from head to toe. Heard a dad at practice tell another last night "that kid looks like a ball player"

Mission accomplished

There you go again. Quit acting like that, and learn to laugh at yourself a bit. A little humility never hurt anyone.

Good luck with finding your kid's shoes.

BTW. . .Check out Bob's Little Feet on Sherwood. They have a lot of good options. Don't know if they have cleats but we get a lot of my boy's shoes there. They're really helpful.

I always laugh at myself, especially in bed (that was humor), but I beg you to tell me, for what reason should I be laughing at myself from this conversation. You can't just say that like you're making a definitive statement that should be seen as fact or truth. Tell me why I am the one who needs to look in the mirror. Maybe you should look at yourself and laugh because you interject garbage into what could have been a 1-2 page thread that accomplished a goal.
