My boy wanted me to buy Scooby Doo season 3 from Prime this morning, and it was $20 damn dollars. I just bought him a $8 movie yesterday, I told him no. He started to cry. Then it hit me, $20 is alot less than what I was paying for daycare for a day, so I bought the 16 episodes from 1977. He's gotten through episode 9, the lizard man one. The whole time he's shouting 'it's the scientist! it's the scientist!' and sure enough, at the end, it was the damn scientist all along!

He really loves it, so i can do some work and shitpost here (off vpn) all day without having to actually parent.

Could have paid that much for a year of boomerang.

You dumb.

I lied. It’s $40 a year. But still. Point stands

Or you could have signed up for Boomarang for $5 a month and he would watch every season.

Seasons 1 and 2 are free with boomerang. That's why I got season 3, I could just buy it instead of adding yet another damn subscription.

It’s $40 a year. Pay and then cancel the resubscribe. Now your little frick trophy can watch every episode of scooby doo.

Later on, you're going to really enjoy life raising a kid who can't ever be told 'NO'.

I can't believe you paid $20 for 1 season of Scooby Doo instead of teaching your kid a valuable lesson. The good news is he's probably done with season 3 and already purchased season 4 without asking.

Do they have all the Smurfs too? The website is ambiguous if it has all of them or just the shitty new Smurf stuff.

I’ve made my kids watch Space Jam every morning for the past 8 days. They hate it but we’ll keep watching until they love it as much as I do. Free on Netflix. You should put Space Jam on for your little dude.

He has watched it 4 times in the last two weeks. I hate it, but if he likes it, that's all that matters.
