It's to the point now I don't ever give them money.

Makes me sad that there may actually be a couple people out there that could use it, but it is what it is.

Why did you give them money to begin with? You are enabling them

I was near target in that area. I opened my car door and was going to throw down on this POS but the light turned green and I blew my horn.

What's so funny? You think I can buy a home with the money I spent on my phone?

Homeless doesn't have to equal phoneless.

The beggars (or whatever they are called) at siegen exit is out of control. I cannot understand why city authorities let them have their way at these major i-10 exits through br.

I would happily vote for a tax that sends these people to California.

Anything less than draconian encourages this shite. The hammer needs to drop.

Pretty soon they will be scamming everyone via square or PayPal to get their fix money.

Funny enough this was one of the few baton rouge experiences I had this weekend. Went to a few spots off Siegen and had the person in the wheelchair being wheeled around by another dude asking for money while waiting at the light to get off 10E. Someone in the car next to me handed them a few $$, I didn't even make eye contact. Saw another one under the bridge asking for cars turning left onto 10W

There’s a team of them. Last weekend I saw a guy on a bike going back and forth between a couple of hobos bringing water and collecting money and telling them where to go.

Give to the food bank, not directly to the hobos!!!

Or at least pick them up and drive them across the bridge out of town.

They are all over Siegen and Bluebonnet now

I honestly see more drug addicts/ beggars on Siegen and Bluebonnet and Sherwood then I do on Plank Road.

Heroin is a huge problem in BR now

I lived in a smaller town where they weren't as much of an issue as they are in BR or Nola.

Once I moved to BR (9 years ago), after the first couple of times, I made myself stop.
