Like SARS and the swine flu?

Worse than the great net neutrality deaths, but not quite as bad as the great trump tax cut deaths.

We dont really know.

This a pandemic by name only, and shouldn’t even be that

You have doubts that China was not absolutely honest ? :-)

Sars didn't really get out too far. If it did, it would have been horrible because it had like a 9% death rate.

I don’t think anyone knows as it has probably been here since January. We just weren’t testing for it until recently.

Wouldn’t know because we’re not testing anyone

And if we were it would probably show a bunch of people have it and it’s not that serious.

Saw some good charts today on lethality vs contagiousness.
Wuhan flu is somewhere between Spanish flu and regular flu.

21 SARS cases in America, 0 deaths
0.0% mortality rate

SARS wasn’t contagious until 5 days in so it was easy to contain

For the US hard to tell, the people in charge of testing and tracking that information are still working on the cranial-rectal extraction process.
Academic numbers put spread rate at about 2x the normal flu. However that’s comparing how the disease spreads in China compared to how the flu spreads in the US so that’s apples to oranges somewhat. Larger issue is compared to the flu, fewer of us (especially older) are able to shake it off and may consume a lot of medical resources trying.

At about 3.50 times the pace of swine flu.

There's our resident expert. Do you know what pandemic means?

Go check in the fricking CDC, not tigerdroppings

Impossible to accurately say. None of these zoonotic outbreaks have accurate tests fight off the bat, but it spread quickly
