to say that COVID is a “cold” is inaccurate. It is more akin to a respiratory flu.
Which is a cold. An upper respiratory infection. If sever enough could lead to hospitalization.
it is a fricking cold, it isnt a flu because it isnt caused by influenza.
This is literally what covid is for most people...

In contrast to the flu, a common cold can be caused by many different types of viruses. The condition is usually harmless and symptoms usually resolve within two weeks.
Symptoms include a runny nose, sneezing, and congestion. High fever or severe symptoms are reasons to see a doctor, especially in children.
Most people recover on their own within two weeks. Over-the-counter products and home remedies can help control symptoms.

Clinical trials can test immediate side effects but can’t predict 6 months or longer down the road. WSJ just published an article about vaxxed people and cases of myocardial anomalies showing up. The numbers are small but the time frames are limited since it’s a new vaccine

But there’s been over 7 billion Covid shots given now. At one point is your ‘untested’ soap box going to stop? You do understand that outside of sci fi movies, there’s almost no history of long term side effects starting after a month or so. Can we agree on that at least?
The argument used by you and others here seems similar to what the left did to Trump and the right on immigration issues. It didn’t matter how many times Trump and the right focused on ILLEGAL immigration, leftists and their media lapdogs decided to reframe the right’s views as being anti-immigration, and racist. Never once has the left proposed to simply abolish the federal laws that define illegal immigration.
The similarity is that you have chosen to compare this vaccine to all other vaccines while willingly and knowingly turning a blind eye to what makes the 2 most common Covid vaccines so different from all others. Vaccine hesitancy is based on concern about the mRNA technology used for the first time on humans for vaccine delivery at a massive scale. There are doctors with specialized knowledge about the mRNA technology who have voiced concern about the long term effects of using mRNA vaccines on this many people at one time. The left regard these dissenting doctors as quacks for no other reason than they conflict with the CDC narrative.
It wasn’t long ago that the CDC’s reputation as a highly politicized organization was well documented, as recently as highly respected author Michael Lewis (of Liar’s Poker, Moneyball, and The Big Short fame) in his most recent book, The Premonition. In that book about the current pandemic, he bashes the Trump organization for their use of the highly politicized CDC. He cites highly accomplished virologists who expressed those views of the CDC. Yet once we have Biden in office, are we to believe they are no longer political? Bureaucracies just don’t work that way.
How many times have we found doctors disagreeing about proper treatment, proper dosage, long term effects of anything. How many times have we found drug companies liable for misrepresenting the safety of their pharmaceutical products?
We just recently saw Pfizer ordered to pay the largest healthcare fraud settlement in history over their claims on the FDA approved Bextra. Did pharmaceutical companies suddenly become noble caregivers after that massive fraud? Merck had a similar settlement resulting from their FDA approved Vioxx, a product which some have claimed cost half a million US lives.
Are we supposed to believe that despite this poor partnership history of FDA and Big Pharma that the massive and urgent demand for a Covid pharmaceutical has suddenly made them much better at what they do? Or is it understandable that many of us are skeptical because of their history?

To say that Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are “untested” and “gene therapy” is ignorant. Further, to say that COVID is a “cold” is inaccurate. It is more akin to a respiratory flu.
Stupidity at its finest!

You know what else helps reduce your chances of hospitalizations? Being in great shape, exercising daily, taking care of your health, and having a healthy diet. The fact that professional athletes are "essentially mandated" is absurd.
Which is exactly what Rogers was reiterating during the interview, this ia a pandemic of the obese and elderly.
