Shakeology cost me $97. That's roughly $3 a day and it's a meal replacement. Name one meal in a day that costs $3. And please don't use fast food dollar menu examples! At worst if you pay full price it still works out to $4 a meal.

Worth being a coach just for that.

I don't like Isometrix at all.
I guess that's where we're different.

CVX tonight. The Challenge wore me out last night. I did not reach my goal 20-10 and executed the moves until my body maxed out. I have a long way to go, guys.

ON average, how many calories do yall think a video from T25 burns? 150-200 or 600-650?

The only thing with Alpha Ab Intervals is that I can't quite get the form perfect. I'm sure if I was stronger in my lower back, then I could get a great range of motion, i.e., lay at a more acute angle and more erect, and thus get better results. I'm just not there right now.

It may not be too impressive but I'm just proud of myself for doing all 90 days.
8 pullups day 1 --->23 pullups yesterday
We definitely have started around the same fitness level. I'm more lean than you are [you have more muscle mass], but it's nice to see someone with similar body characteristics at the beginning, and seeing what he arrived at in the end.

Yeah, Pintail got great results. I need to find some good lighting so I can post mine. I didn't take a before photo, though. Just believe me when I say it wasn't pretty.

A little something I took from my workout today:
I have an energy problem. I was pretty gassed halfway through. I needed the pullup up assist for V pullups, :/ and I felt abused during Ab Ripper.
I think I might need more carbs in my diet, so I have to look into that. Or, I think 4 weeks of Phase II may just be too much. I remember the first time I did X2 I did 5 weeks of Phase II, and I remember feeling the same way I do now.
It might be I need to take my Recovery Week now, especially since I felt this way during Yoga last night.
Still, I was a beast today. Pullups and plyo is no joke.

Sabi, make sure you pick slow digesting carbs: whole grains, fiber, brown rice, sweet potatoes. That will help have long sustained energy throughout the day.
And may I just suggest that the snack you have before your workout (not immediately before but the closest one to it) eat some kind of fruit. It has some healthy, fast digesting sugars that should give you a fuel boost. I like apples, bananas, and oranges the best.

I agree. I don't really care for sweet potatoes, but I'll eat them.
Are all brown rices created equally? The bag I have I only has 1g of fiber per serving.
ETA: Thank you, Doctor.

So, eat fruit 45 minutes before the workout?
Posted on 3/28/14 at 2:41 pm to SabiDojo
30 minutes to an hour.
And honestly there isn't a huge difference between brown rice and white rice unless you're trying to drop a ton of fat. It's just a few less chemicals in brown rice.

Doc... I've been reading that there are high arsenic levels in brown rice.. is this a problem or does cooking it remove some of it?

Gotcha. It's a bag of long grain brown rice. You'd think it would be full of fiber, but it has 32 grams of carbs to only 1 gram of fiber per serving. I think jasmine rice is better than that.
