I'm going buy some flooring and a TV to place in my garage. Only 3 weeks left of my gym membership and I'm in.

Have I emailed you yet?

That's what I have in my garage. Powerblocks, chin up bar, tv, and mats so I'm not jumping on concrete.

I'm using my fitnesspal app. It's recommending 2000. After a workout of around 300 burned I'm around 1800 - 1700.
Feels like I'm eating enough. I spike up to 3k on weekends.

I use the same app. When you calculate your calories are you factoring in the workouts too and you deficit needed for weight loss?
It's ok to be a little under it but too much will actually hinder your weight loss.

Gotcha, so instead of shooting for 1,500 or less (including workout burn) I will try and get closer to the 2K recommended on the app.
Will check in after a few weeks.
Awesome thread btw, good motivation.

FYI, the p90x app, now has P90X3. It's been out a couple weeks, i believe.

For the garage guys, what mats do y'all have? The ones at Academy look to be better quality than SAMs. Was even debating on gluing them down so they don't move.

I recommend a mat that is waterproof. I think Academy has them for a good price.
Buy a big mat (like those bodybuilders use) and a yoga mat for extra padding.

I have wood floors in my living room and they are slick as shite.
I have to bust out a yoga mat for some shite.

I work out on tile, so I feel ya.

I used the mats from Academy that look like puzzle pieces. And I covered the seems with duct tape to hold them together better.
