Just checking in, been doing P90X since February and have lost 20 lbs. i feel like I have hit a wall, and would still like to lose another 15 lbs. next month I am starting the lean routine. Hoping that will get me there. Started at 230 and I'm 5' 10".

I did a 5 mile trail run in Bogue Chitto state park today. That shite was harder than my 30 min videos! Hot, humid, hills, mud, and sand.

I gaurantee that doing X3 has helped me a lot with my running though.

Now it's time to get ready for some drinking!

Would you guys recommend the pull-up assist? I just finished the second round of Total Synergistics, and I'm only getting 5-6 reps in per set. I just feel like it's going to be difficult to improve with so few.

The pullup assist is the best. It helps you get perfect form.

However, 5 to 6 reps isn't bad for Total Synergistics so long as your form is right.

For the pull knee pulls, I go as slow as possible to get the most out of it, and that is usually 8 to 12 reps. And I can do over 30 pullups without stopping.

The Chin Circles? I love going slow for those.

You think less extension/a few more reps would be better until I get a little stronger?

The assist is the best purchase I've made, really. My form is so awesome now, and my back is just plain gross.

I don't really follow what you're trying to say, but I think Tony says in TS that it's not about going fast on those pullups, but engaging and going slow and getting the most out of it.

ETA: I think you get 45 seconds for the pullups. If you're doing it right, 8 to 12 is really all you need. You could probably do more chin circles, but I like getting a large range of motion during that one.

Yes. Absent the assist. Or grab a chair and use it to assist.

My last time doing T25 I did the gamma cycle...but couldn't do speed 3.0. You know it's bad when Tania isn't even modifying

I always just did speed 2.0 whenever the schedule called for speed 3.0.

Just all the damn burpee pushups...just too much for me.

Plyo push-ups at the very end of Agility X.

I actually found Agility X to be rather disappointing.

Did Isometrix for the first time tonight. One of my new favorite workouts.

week 2 of block 2 started today with Eccentric Upper. Went much smoother than last week since I had a much better idea as to what bands I needed to use. Here's to another week of walking funny.

It's probably one of the easiest in the first block, but I'm still in bad enough shape to be sucking wind pretty hard by the end.
