Has anyone done the Body Beast video's?? I keep seeing the adds for them after the workouts...
Was wondering if it's worth giving a try after i'm done with X3

I've done them. Gained 10 lbs of muscle. Lots of heavy weights, I really liked it.

If you need the hookup email me.

Dr. Tyger did it. He can help us out.

Well, you're not wrong.

From it's site... I've got everything listed.. minus ez curl bar

and I wonder what he means by a few sets of dumbells

You need pretty much a full set. Like I said, It's a lot of heavy weights, but you'll probably need as light as 10 lbs. If you're going to seriously do this program it's time to invest in an adjustable set like Powerblocks. You should probably get a bench too. The ball is a nice alternative, but not as stable so you can't lift as heavy.

I can't imagine how much I would have to eat.

I was eating 3300 calories a day. I really had to force it down at times. The Beast supplements did help though since they're pretty calorie dense.

quote:

How long are the workouts? I hate to say it, but that's a major consideration for me.

They vary from 30 minutes to just under an hour. Shorter than X2. What I like is a lot of the BS is cut out. The warmup is maybe a little over a minute then you get right into lifting.

The wife just text me a pic of a chick from the video she's currently doing... " I swear this chick a man.. Her arms are bigger than Tony's"

It's the girl in incinerator right?
quote:

Found her...pic sent to me was a bit deceiving ..she's still a beast though LINK

yup. she's scary

Imagine Insanity workouts crammed into 25 minutes. There you go.

Are they as effective? Harder/easier? I'd imagine no breaks

Very effective. Just as hard, some might be a little easier. No breaks.

Challenge packs for it are on Sale this month too. Normally $205, now $180 with free shipping.

Today was Warrior day. During the elevator pushups my arms were shaking like a magic fingers hotel bed vibrator.
Anybody else have this issue?

No troubles at all, really. Foam rolling and rest really helps.

My back was tight yesterday too, mid back on the right side, right underneath the shoulder blade. Yoga helped a little bit last night. I'm excited about PAP tomorrow.

You juicing? How's that coming?
