It's essentially a recovery drink with alcohol in it. About 4 parts carb to 1 part protein. The only problem is alcohol is catabolic and limits your gains.


That said I'm enjoying an Abita amber right now.

Just got done with X2 Base + Back. I hurt my left knee doing Jack In The Box Knee Tucks. My form was bad on the last few and I paid dearly for it. I almost couldn't finish the workout. I think I'm fine, though. I'll have a better idea tomorrow. It was the last workout of the 5th week of Phase II. I guess I better take my Recovery Week now.

Left knee still hurts. I can't put a lot of weight on it. I've tried to do a single leg touch down and couldn't even bend my knee slightly. I can't even do Warrior 1 on my left side.

I really hope I'll be okay in a week.

If you fricked your knee up you would be in a shite ton of pain. Probably just super sore. Foam roll, stretch, water, and try to walk for a bit daily.

Oh and pop advil

Sabi, rest for a while.

Take 4 tabs, 800mg, of ibuprofen every 8 hours for three days. Wear a knee brace with good support too if you want.

No sense in pushing through something that might just hurt you worse and leave you out of commission for even longer.

Yeah, if you take it scheduled it should reduce the inflammation. Don't go more than a few days though or you'll tear up your stomach.
